TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- As the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Dan Stout steps up, and accepts the 312th AS flag from Col. Scott McLaughlin, thus accepting command. Stout flew B-52 Stratofortress bombers at Barksdale Air Force Base, Lousiana, and the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, prior to joining the 349th Air Mobility Wing here. TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Lt. Col. Dan Stout steps up, and accepts the 312th AS flag from Col. Scott McLaughlin, thus accepting command, during the 312th Airlift Squadron change of command ceremony, June 7. Stout flew B-52 Stratofortress bombers at Barksdale Air Force Base, Lousiana, and the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, prior to joining the 349th Air Mobility Wing here. Lt. Col. Kevin Lane, the outgoing 312th Airlift Squadron commander, has been selected for promotion to colonel, and in-residence professional military education.
