GFLR 20-01 kicks off with unique training

Airmen from the 621st Contingency Response Wing and the 921st CRS based out of JBMDL, NJ, and Travis AFB, CA, inspect a Polaris MRZR ATV after it was transported during a sling load training event as part of Green Flag Little Rock 21-01 at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, Oct. 19, 2020. The Polaris was carried by a UH-60 black hawk and returned unscathed and operational, rendering the exercise a success and signaling a huge landmark in Air Mobility Command history. Previously, this type of training had been conducted with a HMVEE and this new training will help contingency response teams react faster with lighter gear.
