Travis AFB distributes cloth face covers to Airmen
A box of cloth face covers awaits pick-up from squadron and group representatives April 14, 2020, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Shipments of the Travis-funded face covers were bought by the base following Department of Defense guidance mandating all military personnel wear face covers when physical distancing is impossible—a measure adopted in response to COVID-19. Travis’ 60th LRS, 60th Comptroller Squadron and 60th Contracting Squadron all worked together to make the issuing of the face covers to its Airmen as streamlined and efficient as possible.
