349 Civilians Return to Work
Senior Master Sgt. Richard Griego, a dual-status Air Reserve Technician with the 349th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, reviews Reservists' medical records to ensure deployment readiness, at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Oct 7, 2013. Griego was one of the 349th Air Mobility Wing full-time members who returned to work here today. More than 360 of the wing's full-time cadre were idled last week as a part of a furlough of government employees. ARTs such as Griego maintain status as both Air Force Reservists and Department of Defense civil service employees, ensuring leadership and continuity of Reserve units are provided by Reservists.
