Team Travis 9/11 Event

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --The Travis Air Force Base Honor Guard fires a 21-gun volley to signal the sounding of retreat Sunday, the 10th anniversary of 9/11. More than 400 family, friends and retirees joined Travis Airmen to remember those who perished 10 years ago, in the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. About 120 Airmen stood in formation and rendered honors at the end of the duty day, a tribute as well, to their brothers and sisters in arms, who have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, launched shortly after the 2001 attacks.
