Team Travis Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Members of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, 349 AMW, and the local community gather to kickoff the Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month on May 5, 2013 here at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Attendees celebrated their heritage by performing traditional cultural dances, eating authentic Pacific Islander food, and participating in a judged car show. Technical Sgt. Earline Rice, 60th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, spearheaded the event to bring together members of the Asian Pacific Islander Association here on Travis for a day of celebration.
