45th Aerial Port Squadron Airman pins on rank of chief

Chief Master Sergeant Teresa Serrano, 45th Aerial Port Squadron, pins on the rank of chief during a pinning-on ceremony held here at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. on Dec. 7, 2013.

Chief Serrano enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in 1998 and graduated technical school as an air transportation specialist. During her time in the Air Force, she has worked as a cargo processor, passenger services agent, load planner, and transportation manager. She has been activated and deployed several times in support of Operations NOBLE EAGLE, IRAQI FREEDOM, and ENDURING FREEDOM.

Chief Serrano currently holds a full-time Air Reserve Technician position as the Air Transportation Manager with the 45th APS to provide day-to-day leadership and management of the unit. Within her role, Chief Serrano manages resources, budgets, readiness, training, and administrative functions.
