Members of the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron conduct interrelated exercise scenarios, providing the opportunity to achieve core skill proficiency training at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Feb. 23.

Unlike the C-17 Globemaster III, the KC-10 was not designed with aeromedical evaluation in mind, but can be configured for the mission when needed. Key training events were achieved for members from the 349th Operations, Maintenance, Support and Medical Groups on the aeromedical evacuation sortie.

Other squadrons from across the 349th Air Mobility Wing participate in the exercise scenarios to also provide their members the opportunity to achieve core skill proficiency training during the Unit Training Assembly in February.
