Feb 2014 Skills Training

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Members of the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, particpate in a training class on the specialized procedures for using a KC-10A Extender for opportune aeromedical evaluation at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Feb. 23, 2014. Unlike the C-17 Globemaster III, the KC-10 was not designed with aeromedical evaluation in mind, but can be configured for the mission when needed. During the Unit Training Assembly of Feb. 22-23, squadrons from across the 349th Air Mobility Wing conducted interrelated exercise scenarios, providing Reservists opportunities to achieve core skill proficiency training.
