349th Wing says farewell to one of it's own after more than 20 years of service

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Friends and family celebrated the military career of Tech. Sgt. Carmelita L. Nix, 349th Finance Office, at a retirement ceremony May 17, 2014 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Nix served the mission and Airmen of Team Travis for 21 years as a finance specialist in both 349th and 60th Air Mobility Wings. Nix was mobilized for Operations Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle after the attacks of 9/11. Her volunteer service included support of Operation Teddy Bear, the Tuskegee Airman's group and the Travis Fisher House.
