TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Lt. Col. Katrina Bentler retired from the Air Force reserve after performing 31 years of service for the Air Force during a ceremony held Aug. 9, 2014 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.

Bentler, an Air Force Academy graduate, logged over 4,900 hours flying numerous aircraft, including the C-5, KC-135, and T-37. She finished her career with the 312th Airlift Squadron as the operations group chief of training.
