Alejandrez 349th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Senior Master Sgt. Vicky L. Hedger, a propulsion superintendent with the 349th Maintenance Squadron, retired after almost 36 years of service, January 24, 2015. Hedger has served in numerous maintenance positions during her active duty and reserve career. Initially, she faced many challenges as one of few females in the maintenance field. Lt. Col. Daniel Counts, 349th MXS commander and the ceremony's presiding officer explained that Hedger "blazed the trail alongside other people (women) when she showed what she can do in maintenance."
