349th vice commander was presented a flag at his retirement ceremony as many well-wisher looked on

Col. Broussard retired after 27 years of duty, both active and Reserve. He intends to stay in the Travis area, and continue flying for his airline job, splitting his time between here, and his hometown in Louisiana.

Col. Barrett Broussard was presented a flag at his retirement ceremony June 25, at Travis. 349th Air Mobility Wing Commander, Col. Jay Flournoy, also presented Col. Broussard,  with a shadow box at his retirement. The shadow box represents his career, and contains a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.
