Sparkles 'N Spurs Country Glam to support Scholarships, March 22 Published March 12, 2013 By 349th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Travis Air Force Base Enlisted Spouses' Club and Officers' Spouses' Club are jointly sponsoring an auction Sparkles 'N Spurs Country Glam to benefit many local charities and community-based organizations, and to provide scholarships for college-bound students. This auction is the primary means of support for our Scholarship and Charitable funds. The 2013 auction is scheduled for the evening of Friday, March 22. Money raised from the auction is used to enrich the lives of those who live and work at Travis AFB and the surrounding communities. A significant portion of these programs are geared to help our deployed troops and their families left behind. Travis Air Force Base Enlisted Spouses' Club and Officers' Spouses' Club are IRS registered non-profit organizations and all proceeds from the auction go into our Scholarship and Welfare Funds, and a donation receipt will be provided to you for tax purposes.
