Vaca Jazz Festival

For the past 18 years, the Vaca Jazz Festival, Vacaville, Calif., has wrapped up four days of free music events with a military tribute, featuring the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West "Commanders" Jazz Ensemble. The Nut Tree Plaza was the backdrop for that finale Sept. 17, 2017, and invited guests included leaders from nearby Travis Air Force Base.
