Airmen known to “bust knuckles” get the job done

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The annual Travis Air Force Base Knucklebusters Banquet and Awards recognizes the top performers in all areas of maintenance, for the 60th and 349th Air Mobility Wings.

What sets these awards apart from many is they are awarded through peer review and voting. Winners were in the categories of Enabler, Mission Support, Mission Generation and Maintenance Manager.

The 349th AMW 2016 winners were: Enabler: Staff Sgt. Donald Miller; Mission Support: Senior Airman Timothy Lee; Mission Generation: Senior Airman Leanne Waggoner, and Maintenance Manager: Master Sgt. Frank Somarriba. Waggoner was also named the Flying Crew Chief of the Year.
