PUBLIC AFFAIRS SUPPORT

The 349th AMW Public Affairs Office launched the use of the new Public Affairs Productivity Portal (P3) earlier this year.

This portal serves as your one-stop shop for submitting all requests for Public Affairs support including event photography, art services, studio and passport photo appointments, tour, speaker, Security and Policy Review, and general Public Affairs support requests.

Supported Services:

  • Communication Planning & Advise (Strategic Communication, Public Affairs Guidance, Legislative Liaison Support)
  • Official Photography/Videography (Mission & Operations Documentation, Response, & Investigations)
  • Official Photos (Limited to Commanders, Chiefs, 1st Shirts, Wing annual award winners, and AFI mandated portraits)
  • Ceremony Coverage, including photography and video:
    • Wing-Level Award & Induction Ceremonies: Photos of individuals and a group photo.
    • Change of Command: Photo support for ceremonies at the squadron-level and above.
    • Retirement Ceremonies: Photo support for E-9, O-6, and above
    • Note: Support for ceremonies is dependent on manpower and equipment availability
  • Livestreaming is only at the wing or higher level. Below that level, self-help cameras are available for checkout
  • Graphics Supportlimited to Wing-level priority products aligned with strategic communication plans
  • Media and general public queries, as well as story idea tips should continue to go through our organizational e-mail box at 349amwpa@us.af.mil

Self-Help Services & Unsupported Requests
 

For requests that PA is unable to support due to mission prioritization or manpower, we offer self-help services.

  • Base Marquee: 60th AMW Public Affairs handles these requests
  • Self-Help Equipment: Limited still and video equipment is available for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a great option for retirement ceremonies below E-9/O-6, farewells, or unit-level events
  • Unsupported Requests: IAW Air Force Instruction, PA resources cannot be used to provide souvenirs, personal mementos, or farewell gifts

Click the Public Affairs hyperlink on the far left or select "New Request" from the Public Affairs dropdown menu in the top banner.

Follow the step-by-step prompts to complete and submit your request. You will be prompted to enter your email address and create an account. Please make sure you enter your email in all lowercase.  Military members must use their official e-mail address for better customer service.

Studio Special Instructions

The 60th AMW Base Visual Information Service Center is the official OPR for official studio photography at Travis AFB.

  • Official portraits as required by AFI
  • Applications for special duty assignments
  • Official passports

The 349th Public Affairs Office, to better support the AFRC mission, has set up a studio to support Traditional Reservists unable to get an appointment at the 60th Public Affairs Base Visual Information Service Center, which is only available Monday through Friday.

Studio photography capabilities are limited to:

  • Official passport photo (with UDM approval)
  • PSA video recording
  • Wing level video product recording (Wing level feature products)
  • AFI authorized photos (Unit commanders, wing annual award winners, and AFI mandated portraits.)
  • Other requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis

If PA can’t support your photo request, loaner cameras are offered for units to take photos.  Units may print their photos at the Base Visual Information Service Center using their self-help printer. Please call ahead at (707) 424-3936, to ensure someone is available to assist them.

Note:  This new portal will now be used in place of the AF 833-request form.
