Controlling the skies

A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 121st Air Refueling Wing refuels an E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System with the 116th Air Control Wing over the skies of North Carolina, June 1, 2023. The KC-135 enables the E-8C's mission of developing, detecting, locating and attacking enemy armor at ranges beyond the forward area of troops.
