Team Travis supports Hercules Hometown Parade

Team Travis members came out in force to support the 6th Annual Hercules Hometown Parade, Hercules, Calif., July 4, 2019. The Fourth of July 2019 was celebrated with fireworks and flag waving, picnics and of course, parades. About 30 Airmen from Travis Air Force Base marched for the first time in the City of Hercules Parade. Representing the David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center were Capt. Sara Salmeri, commander of the troops, and 60th Medical Group Superintendent, Chief Master Sgt. Mark Davis, and their Airmen. This is only the sixth year Hercules has hosted a parade for July 4, said Dee Lopez, parade coordinator. “We are so excite to have the men and women of Travis with us today to celebrate, it’s just wonderful,” she said. Also representing the base was the Travis Honor Guard carrying the colors. (U.S. Air Force photo / released / Ellen Hatfield)
