349th Airmen out in the community for Veterans Day
Retired Senior Master Sgt. Ellen Hatfield, 349th AMW public affairs chief of community relations, delivered the key note speech for the ceremony in American Canyon, November 11, 2016. Her speech told the story of World War II hero, Corporal Desmond T. Doss, a Seventh Day Adventist and conscientious objector, who saved the lives of 100 of his fellow soldiers on Okinawa, and was the recipient of the Medal of Honor. (Courtesy photo)
