The 301st Airlift Squadron welcomed its new commander, Lt. Col. James C. Harty, after a change of command ceremony held Nov. 6, 2016 on Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Harty assumes command after 22 years of serving in the "fighting" 301st AS in various capacities. The outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Robert N. Osborn, led the squadron for two years and nine months.
