Senior Master Sergeant James Child is promoted to Chief Master Sergeant in a ceremony presided by Maj. Jolane McCarthy, Commander, 45th Aerial Port Squadron on Feb. 7, 2016 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Childs is the 45th APS air transportation manager and senior Air Reserve Technician.
