TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Civilian employers of Reservists get Air Force experience for a day. Employers of U.S. Air Force Reservists from the 349th Mission Support Group and Operations Group, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., joined their employee and part-time Airmen, Aug. 9, to find out what they do when they step into their military uniform. The group’s busy day began with briefing on the mission of the wing by top leadership including Maj. Gen. Robert Duiganan, 4th Air Force Commander, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., and Col. Maryanne Miller, 349th AMW Commander. The highlight of their day was a flight in a KC-10 Extender tanker aircraft and opportunity to see first hand the capabilities of one of three weapons systems based Travis AFB.
