EAD 349th MXG

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- 349th Maintenance Group hosted an Employer Appreciation Day for civilian employers of several of its Reserve members, Sep. 20. Here they stand with those employees on the nose ramp of a C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft to pose for a group photo. The day began with a briefing by the 349th Air Mobility Wing commander, Col. Maryanne Miller; 349th Maintenance Group Commander Col. William Anholt and Command Chief Master Sgt. Christine Taylor. After the briefing they got on busses to the aircraft flight-line to board either a KC-10 Extender, refueling aircraft or a C-17 Globemaster III, cargo aircraft, where they got the opportunity to experience the Air Force mission and what their employees do—from the air.
