TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The boom operator on a KC-10A Extender from Team Travis took this photo of a A-10 Thunderbolt -- affectionately known as the Warthog -- during a combat air refueling over Afghanistan, Jan. 3. The Air Force Reserve crew consisted of Lt. Col William Featherston, aircraft commander, 79th Air Refueling Squadron, Maj. Christina Soares, pilot, 70th ARS, Tech. Sgt. David Olson, flight engineer, 70th ARS, and Staff Sgt. Robert M Rossman, boom operator, 70th ARS.
