349 ASTS Osan 08

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- All aboard: (left to right) Technical Sgt. Raymond Greth and Technical Sgt. Rowland Suico, both medical logistics technicians with the 349th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., participate in a field training exercise at Osan Air Base, Korea. They are comforting simulated patients on the bus and making final checks to insure the patients are secure for the next leg of their journey—an aircraft headed for medical facilities capable of treating their injuries. The members of the 349th ASTS were in Osan to perform their annual tour by assisting active duty Air Force personnel in setting up a 100-bed Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility in the field, inventoring all parts and then repacking.
