KC-10 Civic Leader Flight
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Member of the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee, shown here in front of the KC-10 Extender with Brig. Gen. (Sel) Maryanne Miller, 349th Air Mobility Wing commander, were invited to a aerial refueling mission over the skies of Northern California and Oregon, April 20. The 349th proudly provided this opportunity for these community leaders to increase understanding of Travis Team daily airlift operations. The routine training flight in which they participated hones the skills needed by C-17 Globemaster and KC-10 Extender crews to perform the Air Force combat mission. These men and women were invited to observe the hard work of Citizen Airmen who live, work and raise families in the Northern California area. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj Robert Couse-Baker)
