Checking it twice.
Senior Airman Marc Boone, 349th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Inspection Crew Chief for the Isochronal Inspections section at Travis AFB, Calif., inspects a C-5 interior fuselage electrical wiring for deterioration and to ensure wire clamps are undamaged and tight. The ISO inspection is a preventative maintenance inspection, done periodically to insure aircraft are ready for flight. When a C-5 enters the ISO hangar all aircraft systems such as avionics, electrical, hydraulic and aircraft fuel systems are inspected for complete functionality, component wear and over all structural integrity of the aircraft.
