Got your coin?
Challenge coins are a military tradition, and even the children attending the 349th Air Mobility Wing's first Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program conference got one of their very own. Brig. Gen. Maryanne Miller had special childrens challenge coins made, and passed them out as she visited with families at the YRRP events. Hosted by the 349th Maintenance Group, the days activities began with an opening ceremony, briefings on a variety of information, prizes; games and goodies for children of all ages, and ended with a free spaghetti dinner followed by a town hall meeting with a question and answer session. The YRRP is a DOD sanctioned program for families and Airmen to provide assistance and support pre-, during and post-deployment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Command Chief Master Sgt. Kathleen Buckner)
