OTB '09
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Dan Allen, 349th Medical Squadron) listened to the wishes of the 349th Air Mobility Wing Honor Guard Dec. 14. Operation Teddy Bear has been giving back to the local communities for more than 25 years, with visits to disadvantaged kindergarten children in Title 1 schools. On a visit to Anna Kyle Elementary School in Fairfield, Calif., the reservists from the 349th AMW brought joy with gifts of teddy bears and goody bags full of small gifts. Sponsored by the wing Top Three Group, different squadrons each year share in the preparations and do the bulk of the work. This year, the 349th Medical Group was the lead unit, supported, as always, by the Honor Guard. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Master Sgt. Ellen L Hatfield).
