Welcome home

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- All smiles: Technical Sgt. Chavares Wilson, a heating and air conditioning technician with the 349th Civil Engineer Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, gets an enthusiastic “welcome back” from his family, who were waiting for him after he got off the plane at Sacramento International Airport, January 24. Sergeant Wilson, along with nine other members from his unit, was returning from a four-month deployment at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq. There, Sergeant Wilson along with the other members from his squadron built and maintained the vital structures and services that kept the base provided with such amenities as heating and air conditioning, a reliable source of electricity, plumbing, tents and other required structures.
