Jazz
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Travis Week activities wrapped up Sept. 19 with the last night of the Vacaville Jazz Festival. Local leaders, military and civilian alike, paid tribute to our prisoners of war and missing in action with a solemn ceremony. Col. Jim Vechery, left, 60th Air Mobility Wing commander, spoke first, followed by the Reserve's 349th AMW commander, Col. Jay Flournoy, right. Vacaville Mayor Len Augustine, front, spoke as well. He is a retired Air Force colonel who served as the commander of the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB, which directly supports the President. (U.S. Air Force photo/SMSgt. Ellen L. Hatfield)
