Coffee Break
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Airmen with the 349th Aerospace Medicine Squadron enjoy bagels, pastries and coffee, courtesy of KUIC 95.3, "Your hometown station." The station provides Coffee Breaks for loyal listeners who call in and request one for their office. Barbara Hoover, Coffee Break Coordinator, brought their breakfast break to Travis Air Force Base Mar. 6, 2013, for about 30 members of the squadron. The Airmen made a phone call back to the station, so they could express their gratitude with a lot of whooping and hollering. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Master Sgt. A regular listener, Iles called the station to request the break for her unit, the 349th AMDS, at Travis AFB. Hoover said she does quite a few Coffee Breaks at Travis, and has three more coming up soon. "We love the folks out here at Travis, they're loyal listeners," she said. When not serving in the Reserve with the 349th AMDS, Iles works full-time at David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Master Sgt. Ellen Hatfield)
