TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Col. Raymond Kozak, 349th Air Mobility Wing commander, and his wife, Maureen, welcomed his incoming Honorary Commander, Mr. Chris Dage, at the 2016-2018 Honorary Commander's Induction Ceremony Mar. 10, 2016.
Dage is the Regional Director of Operations for the Starbucks Coffee Company, with offices in San Francisco. He leads eight district managers with 93 stores and about 2,400 employees. Alongside other incoming HCC for the program, he will serve a two-year term.
The Travis Air Force Base Honorary Commanders program serves as an outlet to connect surrounding areas with the base, as each year, new HCC are selected from leaders in business, education, non-profit, municipal and professional organizations. Throughout their term, the HCCs will be invited to tours and events that will make them an integral part of the Travis community, and help them gain an understanding of the role our units have in fulfilling the greater Air Force mission.
