Master Sgt. Delmora Holman-McClendon, Health Services Management Technician, works diligently to provide continuous and consistent care to members of the 349th Air Mobility Wing. As a former Army medic with 12 years of experience under her belt, she came to the 349th AMW in 2005 with a passion for people and willingness to serve.

Sergeant Holman-McClendon currently works as an Air Reserve Technician for the 349th Aerospace Medicine Squadron. She is the AMDS Flight Chief during A flight unit training assemblies and runs the newly established fitness clinic. Sergeant Holman-McClendon works in the clinic at David Grant Medical Center during UTA mornings, but goes back to the Squadron offices in the afternoon to complete paperwork. She helps Airmen as they are going through medical board processing, line-of-duty incidents, and helps keep all 349th Airmen stay current on their fitness for worldwide duty status.

Since joining the unit, she has streamlined the LOD process, building a strong program and rapport directly with Air Force Reserve Command. Standard LOD's used to take six to eight months to process, but most are now being processed and closed out within 30 days. She also works with the medical continuation program which provides on-going care to members who have incurred long-term LOD injuries.

"Sergeant Holman-McClendon is one of our top five senior noncommissioned officers," said Senior Master Sgt. Helena McGhee, 349th AMDS superintendent. "She consistently demonstrates our care values. As the Line of Duty program manager, she reconstructed the LOD procedure, cutting the process time at the wing level by 65 percent."

Sergeant Holman-McClendon's bubbly personality, hard work, and dedication to the unit are lauded by her superiors and those around her.
