Hero2Hired Mobile Job Store visits Travis

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Searching for a new job is a big undertaking. That's why Hero2Hired was created: to make it easy for service members to connect to and find jobs with military-friendly companies.

The H2H Mobile Job Store is an extension of the H2H program. It has four computer stations that connect to the H2H jobs website as well as a multimedia system and a lounge area where staff members will be available to answer any questions and assist in signing up on the H2H jobs website. The job store with be at the Travis Air Force Base Exchange parking lot on February 12 and 13, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Hero2Hired is a Yellow Ribbon-funded program that connects job seeking veterans and family members with meaningful employment. H2H contains everything you need to find a job, including job listings, career exploration tools, education and training resources, live and virtual hiring fairs, a mobile app, an innovative Facebook application, and a variety of networking opportunities.

H2H also offers career exploration tools, military-to-civilian skills translations, education and training resources, as well as a mobile app. Support for H2H is provided through the Department of Defense's Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program.
