More than 65 spouses of 349th Air Mobility Wing Reservists learned about the Air Force Reserve in the second installment of the Focus on the Family, Nov. 8, 2014 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.

Mirroring the events B-Flight drill weekend, Oct. 25, spouses on November A-Flight had the opportunity to take part in benefits and entitlements briefings and an orientation flight on one of the three mobility aircraft flown and maintained by the 349th: KC-10 Extender, C-5B Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster III. A barbecue luncheon for spouses was made possible by a donation from Travis Federal Credit Union.

"Focus on the Family is all about showing the spouses that we care," said Brittney Cippola, Director of the 349th AMW's Airman and Family Readiness office. "They are part of the Reserve military family we have here at Travis, and even if they live outside of the local area, it's important for them to feel that connection."
