TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Brig. Gen. John. C. Flournoy, Jr., Commander, 4th Air Force, speaks with Capt. Ray Kui, instructor pilot with the 79th Air Refueling Squadron, during KC-10A Extender simulator training March 16, 2015 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.

The general is a command pilot with more than 3,580 flight hours in a variety of Air Force aircraft, including the B-52 Stratofortress, HH-60G Pave Hawk, C-130H Hercules, C-40C and KC-10A Extender.
