AMC Leadership Visits Travis AFB

Louann Cornel, 749th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron superintendent, during Van Ovost’s visit to the 349th Air Mobility Wing Headquarters, Travis Air Force Base, California, Sept. 1, 2020. Cornel led a coordinated personnel recall and total force maintenance effort during the LNU Lightning Complex Fire evacuation and was instrumental in the team launching 17 KC-10 Extender aircraft in seven hours, the largest fire evacuation effort in Air Force history.
