TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Lt. Col. Erin Hutchison, 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron commander, receives the guidon from Col. Charles Metzger, 349th Air Mobility Wing vice commander, during an assumption command ceremony on Dec. 8, 2018, at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The mission of the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron is to train nurses, medical specialists and flight operations personnel in aeromedical evacuation, so that the squadron is prepared to fulfill its wartime role.
