Travis leadership welcomes back team members from Operational Readiness Inspection location

Team Travis members, including Col. James Vechery, 60th AMW commander, and Col. Barrett Broussard, 349th AMW vice commander, came out in force to welcome the last chalk home from the Air National Guard base at Alpena, Mich., Oct 24.  Travis Team members were deployed there to performed their missions under wartime conditions during the Operational Readiness Inspection.

The ORI teams were lead by Brig. Gen. Maryanne Miller, 349th AMW commander, and Col. Michael Minihan, 60th AMW vice commander.  General Miller went out to the Travis flightline to personally welcome back her fellow ORI participants.

Team Travis members then attend a re-deployment briefing were PERSCO members, from both wings, assisted the returning teams with travel voucher and other personnel matters.
