Col. Barrett Broussard, 349th Air Mobility Wing vice commander, presented four coins to Civil Engineer Squadron Airmen during a surprise visit May 2.

Tech. Sgts. Ana Baber,  Robert Allen, Mark Aldrette and  Glen Watkins all assigned to the 349th CES, received a 4th Air Force Commander's coin for superior performance from Colonel Brousssard.

A higher headquarters team made a staff assistance visit to the wing Apr. 28 - May 2 to assist in preparation for the 2011 operational readiness inspection. The numbered air force commander, Maj. Gen. Eric Crabtree, traditionally recognizes individual superior performance of duty with presentation of his personal coin.

Higher headquarters SAVs help prepare the wing for the future operational readiness inspections, and individual stellar performance is always rewarded.
