349th Wing's Operation Gratitude enters it 10th year of thanking Veterans for their service, sacrifice

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Senior Master Sgt. Sherry Jensen helps a veteran to his seat during "Operation Gratitude" at the California Veterans Home, Yountville, June 19.

For the 10th year in a row, the 349th Air Mobility Wing purchased, prepared and served a champagne brunch to the veterans as an expression of heartfelt gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

Sergeant Jensen, assigned to the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, volunteers along with her teen-aged daughter, who is enrolled in U.S. Navy Sea Cadets.
