349th Civil Engineer specialist earns Air Force Combat Action medal

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif -- Col. Jay Flournoy, wing commander, awards the Air Force Combat Action medal to Tech. Sgt. Doug Baker, 349th Civil Engineer Squadron, Explosive Ordinance Disposal specialist.

Sergeant Baker deployed as part of an EOD team from the 349th, and was injured in a blast performing his duties.

The 349th Air Mobility Wing kicked off fiscal year 2011 with a Wing Commander's Call, during which a number of Airmen were recognized for their accomplishments.
