349th Wing members go 'above and beyond'

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The 349th Air Mobility Wing holds one of it's semi-annual Wing Commander's Call, during which a number of Airmen were awarded medals for going "above and beyond."

Col. Jay Flournoy, wing commander, presented Air Force Achievement medals to Staff Sgt. Mary Kathleen Olaes and Tech. Sgt. Jane Venenciano, both assigned to the 45th Aerial Port Squadron.

The sergeants deployed along with a group of their fellow "Port Dawgs" in support of air expeditionary operations.
