TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- During a recent 349th Wing Commander's Call, Col. Jay Flournoy, wing commander, pined the Air Force Achievement medal on Staff Sgt. Daniel Rivera, 45th Aerial Port Squadron.

Sergeant Rivera deployed to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, along with a group of his fellow "port dawgs" in support of air expeditionary operations.
