Ellen Hatfield 349th Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Distinguished visitors to Travis Air Force Base, "Gateway to the Pacific," are the norm. These reservists, assigned to the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, the 301st Airlift Squadron and the 312th AS, went above and beyond to support the recent visit to the base, of Lt. Gen. (Gen. sel) William Shelton. They all volunteered to be part of the team that showcased how the Airmen here are supporting the war fighter and global strategic operations daily. The 349th and 60th Air Mobility Wings work as a team at Travis. Gen. Shelton has been selected as the new commander for Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colo.
