Team Travis Airmen gave a big assist, flying this KC-10 Extender to perform an aerial refueling of an U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III while it is en route to Japan with a Search and Rescue team during an emergency response on March 12, 2011.  The 60th AMW is the active duty host wing, and the 349th AMW is the largest associate wing in the Air Force, at Travis, where the Airmen perform as "one team, no seam."

Aircrew from the 4th Airlift Squadron, McChord Air Force Base, Wash. are transporting members and equipment of the Los Angeles Search and Rescue team to Japan to aid in recovery and care of the victims of the recent earthquake.
