"I wanted to take her round just one more time," said Col. Barrett Broussard, as he took his "fini" flight in a Team Travis C-17 June 24.

Col. Broussard was met on the flight line by about 50 Airmen, family and friends who hosed him down as tradition dictates. He enjoyed some time with friends, coworkers and family after his traditional "hosing down" following his fini flight.

Col. Broussard retired June 25 after serving 27 years in the Air Force, active duty and in the Reserve.

Sharing in the hilarity were 349th Air Mobility Wing Command Chief, Chief Master Sgt. Kathleen Buckner, and behind, Col. Sonny Giddings, 349th Maintenance Group commander.
