Operation Gratitude - 11 years still going strong

Every year, the reservists of the 349th wing buy, prepare, and serve the brunch as a way of giving back to our veterans who paved the way for those of us who still serve. 

Miss Nellie elicits a laugh from Master Sgt. Deserie Jackson as Mr. David Wilhite adjusts her seat at the brunch table.  Sergeant Jackson is assigned to the Mission Support Squadron as the career advisor, and Mr. Wilhite is a Travis AFB contractor, and the C-5 engine manager for TKC Aerospace, Inc.

Miss Nellie was just one of many residents at the California Veterans Home, Yountville, who enjoyed the 11th annual champagne brunch, "Operation Gratitude,"  a celebration sponsored by the 349th Air Mobility Wing, and supported by Team Travis members.
